Hey everyone have you seen the snowy wonderland just outside you window lately? I have. Even though it only been about couple days since its arrival its melting faster then you can say '' Have a White Christmas''. Hope you got to enjoy it while it lasts. Have fun. 

Happy Late Thanksgiving Everyone!

I hope you all had a very thankful thanksgiving. It is said that the number thirteen is the year of the Camel. If you haven't been made aware, the camel is the symbol for change. I bet if you look back on this year so far, that you would be able to find that there was at least one form of change that has already happen, or perhaps it is happening now. For me it is my grandmother that was diagnosed with lung cancer earlier this year and having to deal with all the medical need that are having to be met. But she is very strong and refuses to allow this to beat her. She keeps getting stronger every day. We still continue to stand by her and encourage her though the tough times. There will be no telling how long she will stay in this world, but we hope it will be for a lot longer.. I will keep praying and thanking the Lord for the time he has given her and the time he will continue to give her

 Please, tell me about the changes in your life. Even the smallest things make the world of a difference.

Good-bye,

        Have you every had someone special to you die. This week a member of my fathers family past away. A beautiful service. You never know how many  people care until you see a funeral in action. The man who past this last week was a wonderful man and I was very luck to know him. I will miss you Great Uncle Tony.

Halloween Pumpkins

                               Hey so I promised to post pictures so here they are.

the one with the Dragon and  pumpkin is mine, Frankenstein is made by my Younger sister, the Wolf with the  moon belongs to my Youngest sister, Minion is my fathers, and the Cat with Pumpkin is my Twin sister's pumpkin.

Halloween Theme

   
      OK so it's almost Halloween and I know what I want to be. Have you ever heard of the story Danial and the Lions den? We'll a family I know is dressing as the whole story characters; Danial, the lions, and the king and I thought about dressing up as one of the lions. I haven't got my costume yet , but I working one it.

History of the Jack O' Lantern

The Legend of "Stingy Jack''

People have been making jack-o'-lanterns at Halloween for centuries. The practice originated from an Irish myth about a man nicknamed "Stingy Jack." According to the story, Stingy Jack invited the Devil to have a drink with him. True to his name, Stingy Jack didn't want to pay for his drink, so he convinced the Devil to turn himself into a coin that Jack could use to buy their drinks. Once the Devil did so, Jack decided to keep the money and put it into his pocket next to a silver cross, which prevented the Devil from changing back into his original form. Jack eventually freed the Devil, under the condition that he would not bother Jack for one year and that, should Jack die, he would not claim his soul. The next year, Jack again tricked the Devil into climbing into a tree to pick a piece of fruit. While he was up in the tree, Jack carved a sign of the cross into the tree's bark so that the Devil could not come down until the Devil promised Jack not to bother him for ten more years.Soon after, Jack died. As the legend goes, God would not allow such an unsavory figure into heaven. The Devil, upset by the trick Jack had played on him and keeping his word not to claim his soul, would not allow Jack into hell. He sent Jack off into the dark night with only a burning coal to light his way. Jack put the coal into a carved-out turnip and has been roaming the Earth with ever since. The Irish began to refer to this ghostly figure as "Jack of the Lantern," and then, simply "Jack O' Lantern."In Ireland and Scotland, people began to make their own versions of Jack's lanterns by carving scary faces into turnips or potatoes and placing them into windows or near doors to frighten away Stingy Jack and other wandering evil spirits. In England, large beets are used. Immigrants from these countries brought the jack o' lantern tradition with them when they came to the United States. They soon found that Pumpkins, a fruit native to America, make perfect jack-o'-lanterns.

 So I went on a field trip Thursday to Gunter's farm and it couldn't get any better. My family is planning on carving our new pumpkins today. My little sisters have already got their faces all ready to go. I post the pictures as soon as I get them.

Iron Man 3

   I have just got done watching Iron Man 3. It was AMAZING. I loved it!!! Especially the ending and the climax! Really action packed and fun to watch. If your a Super Hero fan your going to love it.

First Day

          Hey it's my first day of blogging and I'm pretty clueless on what to write but I'll try anyway. So I'll go ahead and tell you that I'm 15 years of age and I have three sisters,a father and a a mother(of course,),two dogs,four birds,a cat and a ferret.I'm homeschooled and totally love it. Later on I'll post some picts and videos so ya'll get some insight on my life.
         
Basiclly I'll just be going with the flow and seeing how it'll works out.For right now I'll be going with a seasonal theme. Happy Halloween!  Love ya'll. Bye!!!
